Welcome Social

Every fall, the program welcomes its students with a reception. In this event, students get to meet other students and the instructors that teach all of our classes. They also find out about other program events, opportunities for volunteering, and information about our classes.

Semi-annual faculty/student interaction day

This is a day when faculty and students in the program get together in a local park to chat, relax, play games, and eat delicious Mexican dishes. This event is made possible through a grant given by the University of Arizona. The instructors in the program cook all morning and we all get together for lunch. We also play cultural games, dance, and have lots of fun! Don't miss this semester's interaction day. Current and future students are invited if they RSVP to the program director before the event.

This semester's event was on April 5 in Reid Park from 12 to 3. Thank you to the 150 students and instructors that made this event a success!
