Users, please note that this text is based on the text of the play as found
in a seventeenth-century manuscript found in the National Library in Madrid
(MS-16775). The text was edited and corrected with the
aid of the other manuscript (MS 17.189) and the pinceps of the work in
LAUREL DE COMEDIA DE DIFERENTES AUTORES, Parte 49. The work of editing was
done in 1997 by Marí José Delgado who has so generously offered
for use at this site. Her edition was set in HTML for presentation here by Vern
Williamsen in 1998. The text has been proof read several times and subjected to
the usual spell-check programs but may contain a few typographical or coding errors.
