Poetry Joey's participants work with visual arts educators from the UA Museum of Art to design and participate in a performance piece that incorporates poetic language, movement, color, shape, and form.

Poetry Joeys is a Saturday morning reading and activity group for children ages 4-10 taught by experienced poets, writers, and teaching artists who base their lessons on our curriculum VERSE!: Poetry for Young Children. Poetry Joeys takes place in the Children's Corner of the Poetry Center located in the Helen S.Schaefer Building and is sponsored by Colleen and Jim Burns.
