Publication news from German Studies: Schulz and Tschirner

Renate Schulz and Erwin Tschirner have co-edited Communicating Across Borders: Developing Intercultural Competence in German as a Foreign Language (Iudicium, 2008).

Professor Schulz is currently Interim Head of the Department of German Studies, and is a faculty member of the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT). Dr. Tschirner is Professor of German as a Foreign Language and Applied Linguistics at the Herder Institute of the University of Leipzig, Germany, and Adjunct Professor of German Studies at the University of Arizona.
