Academic Probation

College of Humanities students with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) below a 2.00 are considered to be on Academic Probation.  At the end of each semester, academic records for College of Humanities probation students are reviewed.   The following are required for this review: 

  1. The Academic Contract is an agreement between you and the College of Humanities regarding your minimum academic requirements for the Fall 2006 semester.  This contract must be signed by you and your college advisor in the College of Humanities Academic Advising Center no later that August 1st, 2006.   To do this, you must schedule an appointment with your college advisor.   Please complete the academic contract and bring it to your appointment. 

  2. The Grade Report Letters assist the College of Humanities in determining your academic progress in each of your Fall 2006 classes.  Please print one letter for each class.  Meet with you instructors between September 18th and September 29th to receive your mid-semester grades.  Once all of your letters are signed by your instructors, schedule an appointment with your college advisor by October 2nd.
