Eligibility: Full-time students who have reached sophomore status (24 or more units completed), excluding graduate and professional students. Transfer students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at the University of Arizona. The award should be given to students who have financial need and have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. the University of Arizona Supplemental Form for Scholarships and Financial Aid should be completed by each student and made available to the Parents' Association for consideration. A personal letter addressed to the Parents' Association stating the student’s educational goals and an unofficial transcript must accompany the application. Two applications are requested from the following colleges: Agriculture, Architecture, BPA, Education, Engineering and Mines, Fine Arts, Humanities, Nursing, Science, SBS, and University College. Applications will be due April 15th of each year to ensure scholarship availability in the Fall of the next academic year.
Value: This scholarship will provide a $500 scholarship for up to 12 students. Once the endowment earnings generate more than $6,000 the total value of the scholarship can be reevaluated by the Parents' Association.
