Richard Jensen Latin Prize

Source: An endowment established by the Department of Classics through contributions from friends and associates, to honor Dr. Richard C. Jensen, Associate Professor of Classics (Emeritus). Dr. Jensen taught at the University of Arizona for more than 30 years.

Eligibility: Recipient shall be an undergraduate student in advanced Latin studies, based on g.p.a. and outstanding achievement on an assignment, such as an essay on a set topic. Selection shall be by an award committee made up of department faculty and graduate students.

Value: Varies, the interest earned on the endowment principal shall be awarded as scholarship dollars.
