The Loyal A. T. Gryting Memorial Scholarship In French Literature

Source: A gift from Mrs. Anna Gryting to establish a perpetual endowment, the returns from which will fund scholarships in French at the University of Arizona in memory of Mrs. Gryting's son, the late Professor Loyal A. T. Gryting, Ph.D., an Emeritus Professor of French at the University of Arizona.

Eligibility: Upper division or graduate students in French Literature who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and a real desire to make a career in French Literature.  Candidates are selected by the faculty of the French Department subject to the approval of the Dean of the College of Humanities and the Office of Student Financial Aid.  Candidates must be full time students.

Value: Number and value vary with the income from the endowment.  The scholarship may be renewed upon recommendation of the Department.
