Eligibility: Graduate students in English who have demonstrated superior academic skills and are working on dissertations in the Department of English. Students must submit the dissertation proposal and/or a sample chapter to be eligible. Selections are made annually in the Fall semester by a committee appointed by the Head of the Department of English. Recipients receive the award at the beginning of the Spring semester.
Value: Three fellowships annually at $7,000 per award.
