Faculty Development

The College of Humanities is committed to promoting the growth and development of its dedicated and talented faculty and to recognizing them for their exemplary achievements.

The dean sponsors teaching, advising, mentoring and educational outreach awards each year which are designed to honor College of Humanities' faculty for their significant contributions to ensuring that the college fulfills its mission of instruction, research, service and outreach.

The college also supports a Women Mentoring Women initiative whose goal is to create and maintain a supportive environment for women faculty in the college by developing programs that are responsive to their interests.
