I am an Assistant Professor in the Multimedia Writing and Technical Communication program at Arizona State University (Polytechnic Campus). My PhD is from the Rhetoric, Composition, and the Teaching of English program at the University of Arizona. I am passionate about teaching and I enjoy the opportunity to explore the rhetorics of identity, multimodal communication, and popular culture with my students. In my spare time I enjoy, live music, stand-up comedy, mountain biking, pottery, gardening, camping, and traveling to Mexico and California with my husband Harry, my step-daughter Emma, and our two dogs Sophie and Milo.
